The hybrid simulation system of hydropower generation units in islanding AC grid and its applications

چکیده
It is a trend for the large hydropower bases to transport electricity consuming center with High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) transmission lines. The fault of HVDC has great significance impact on units in islanding sending AC grid. In this paper, hybrid simulation system established analyze dynamic characteristic system. based Real Time Digital Simulator (RTDS) and Signal Processor (DSP). electromagnetic transient process generator, load, network completed by RTDS. Hydroturbine (HRTS) DSP completes hydraulic-mechanical-electrical hydroturbine, division governing real time data communication between RTDS, HRTS external equipment ensures calculation simulation. results show high coincidence field data. an effective approach research at terminal HVDC.
